Rocky first started his quest for fitness and healthier nutrition by joining our 2015 weight loss contest, the 2015 Glenwood South Slimdown. He has lost 90 pounds in the last year. How has he done it?
He eats a lower carb diet that emphasizes protein foods, lots of fibrous veggies, and good, healthy fats. He gets in some cardio most days of the week, and strength trains 3 days a week.
Rocky has been able to give up his blood pressure medication, which is a great milestone achievement for his health.
