If you have struggled to be consistent with your workouts and healthy eating habits or have been a false starter like so many people who say they need to exercise but never really get around to it.
Make the choice to not have a choice. Do what I do….
Do something every day. I do 3 hard strength and conditioning workouts per week, and I walk daily , foam roll or do mobility exercises.
I’ve made exercise a daily habit. Do you have to think about brushing your teeth in the morning? Figure out if you have enough time, or if you “feel” like brushing? No, you just do it.
Action is bigger than everything else.
Passion is built, not found.
It means working at something is better than not working. You don’t have to love your job, but you still go to work, right? You don’t have to love your workout either – but you still have to do it!
Are your workouts uncomfortable in the short term? Maybe. Setting any new habit requires some adjustment. But maybe some discomfort in the short term is what’s required for long term success. What do you think?
