Wrestling set me on a path to a lifetime of fitness and the work I love. I gained strength, learned discipline, and committed to the choices that yielded results.

How can we help you along your path to fitness?

The good news is you don’t have to have a history of wrestling or any other sport in order to make good choices today that will help you live, eat, and move better!

“When you think about quitting, think about why you started.”

Take advantage of the weather getting cooler and spend more time outside. Walking, hiking, cycling – there are all especially great with crisp air and fall foliage!

Having nutritious foods readily available in your fridge makes it so much easier to eat healthy. Cut up fruits and vegetables can be easily paired with a low-fat yogurt dip for a quick snack or side dish.

There are a lot of portable snacks out these days, too;  fruits, nuts, single-serving yogurts, and low-fat cheese. Snacks high in fiber and lean protein will keep you full between meals.

Just for this week

Think about rejuvenating yourself this fall–mind, body and spirit! Get a massage. Learn to meditate. Take a fun class, something you’ve always wanted to learn.

Treat yourself with activities that promote wellness. You’re already exercising, so find a way to feel good mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well.
