When you come to Personally Fit, it may look like just about any other gym, but what you find is family, support, and community.  Our clients get to know one antoher, and work out together.  We support our clients in reaching their goals, whether it’s losing 200 lbs after bariatric surgery, or getting fit for an acting role.  
We meet our clients where they are at, and help them make meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives that take them towards their goals, while providing ongoing support, cheering, and coaching. 

Private Training

We work with many of our clients 1:1 in the gym or in the comfort of their own homes, with a fitness routine that is based on science, and data, that helps them become stronger, more fit, and lead better lives.

By partnering with our clients, and understanding their specific goals and desires, we help them get where they want to be, and become WHO they want to be. 

We know that people who get the support they need and deserve when starting a fitness routine are much more likely to have long term outcomes.  
We have worked with some of our clients for over 20 years, helping them lead more active, healthier lives.  By building those long-term relationships our clients are able to be more fit, and have more life in their lives.

Group Classes

Group Classes

We offer several small group classes each week for our clients who prefer to work out in groups.  We also offer group challenges if you are a slightly more competitive sort, and would like to be challenged in your workouts, and weight loss goals. 

Functional Fitness

At Personally Fit, we focus not just on athletes, but also on helping people reach their optimum levels of functional fitness.  That means that our clients are able to do more, and live a better quality of life.  Whether it’s improving mobility, strength or flexibility, we are here to help you improve your Functional Fitness levels!

 Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements and activities that you might do at home, at work, or in sports. Since you are using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.

Youth Conditioning

We work with young athletes to help them become stronger, better athletes.  By focusing on appropriate, strength training, we improve our athletes’ performance, and also help reduce the risks of injury. 

Youth Conditioning

We train youth who compete in a wide range of sports, from wrestling, to baseball, basketball, and lacrosse.  

We help young athletes improve strength and joint stability.  That means a higher level of performance in their chosen sports, but also lowering the risk of injury, by strengthening the muscles around a particular joint.  

One good example of this is working with a softball pitcher, and helping them strengthen both shoulders.  This reduces overall shoulder pain, but also allows for better throwing, and more even development of muscle on both sides of the body. 


Nutrition Coaching

Many of our clients know that they aren’t eating what they should be, and have gained some weight.  (Or they wouldn’t be coming to the gym.)

Part of our Personalized Fitness training involves helping educate our clients on nutrition, and the latest scientific evidence on nutrition, macronutrients, and hydration.  By sharing the latest research, they are able to gain control of their weight, and shed the pounds easier than they thought possible.  

This is especially important with many of the women we work with. Once we train them to follow certain principles with their nutrition, they see the weight start to drop off – almost as if by magic.
